We are proud and excited to announce that Kamran Ravandi recently joined PCC as an Executive Project Manager. Earlier this summer, Kamran accepted an early retirement offer from the City of Los Angeles, having worked for the Los Angeles departments of Building and Safety (LADBS) and Public Works (DPW) for more than 30 years in various positions. He is a problem solver with extensive Building and Zoning Code knowledge and fluent in the building permitting process.
Kamran has already started helping clients to review preliminary plans, interpret Building Code questions, and review historic records to help interpret legal status of additions to existing buildings.
Prior to coming to PCC, Kamran was the supervisor of the LADBS Plan Check counter and back-room services in West LA, overseeing a staff of 15 structural engineer associates. He was a training officer for LADBS and recipient of multiple awards from LADBS. At DPW, he was a project manager on federally-funded projects with budgets over $30 million.
Kamran has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. He is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer and a California Building Plans examiner.
