PCC Presents Zoom Talk on the draft Wildlife Ordinance

Chris Parker / March 18, 2024

Pacific Crest Consultants CEO Chris Parker will be leading a Zoom discussion this Thursday night about one of the most significant, proposed changes to the Zoning Code: The Wildlife Ordinance.

If approved by the City Council and signed by Mayor Bass, new limitations on building size, allowable grading, floor area, etc., will be imposed on residential lots in the area bordered by the 405 to the west, 101 to the north, Sunset Blvd. to the south, and the Cahuenga Pass to the east.

And then the city is expected to expand these restrictions to other Hillside communities from Pacific Palisades to Tujunga.

Parker has been a zoning consultant in Los Angeles for 21+ years with an emphasis on entitlements for Hillside and Coastal areas. He will explain the current status of the Wildlife Ordinance, its proposed changes to the zoning code, and what communities could be next.

The seminar is free to members of the Association for Women In Architecture + Design (AWA+D), $5 for students and $15 for non-members.
